Great little motel in town. Just minutes away from Main street, post office, restaurant and family dollar store. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean, beds comfy and bath room clean. Could use a little updating but then you lose the historic vibe. Overall- cute hometown vibe.
The rooms are older but extremely clean and comfortable. We have been in two rooms and they are spacious and have decent sized refrigerators and a small microwave. Staff has been wonderfully accommodating and helpful. There are several great places to eat within walking distance (highly recommend the Habanero Mexican Grill, The Chicken House, and Papas Pizza). There are many quaint shops to explore, also within walking distance, and a cute historical park behind the inn. This Inn was a welcome surprise for great accommodations at a great price. We will stay again the next time we are in the are.
Chose this place because options are rather limited. Was not displeased to any degree. Very quiet, Manager seems to be On Site, clean enough to not be called not clean. Like any other place little tiny things need attention - drain in tub missing and a lamp did not work. Nothing to cry real hard about.
Stayed one night was very happy with the room. We had the suite and couldn't complain about a thing. Beds are a little soft but nothing bad. The office checked in with me several times before arrival just to assure me I have the room. Parking was good. Location is good. Would definitely recommend
No frills, three star motel that mapped my needs for a recent trip. Room was clean, a bit cluttered with excess furniture, did not smell, room AC was quiet, and I wasn't bothered by anyone. I noted it was pet friendly (for a $10 fee), though I didn't bring one. It had free WIFI, but make sure you bring your own USB device charger blocks.
Nothing fancy, typical roadside motel. It was very clean and the service was friendly and accommodating. They do allow dogs. The hotel was uncrowded on a Sunday night. Offered a much needed reprieve after hours of driving. Next door was a historic area that was very interesting and worth checking out.
It was a lucky find for a last minute holiday weekend. Rooms aren't fancy but they are clean and kept well. Staff is nice and the price was beyond affordable. My only issue is that on my second night, a rather loud group of individuals checked into what seemed to be every room near me. I did see signs posted saying guests are to be respectful of other guests and be quite as of 10 pm.... I don't really know what I expect to be done about other guests behavior but I'm surprised that it continued until after 1:00 am. I would still recommend to anyone and I will definitely stay again in the future.
Smoking Rooms Available. The right place at the right price. Room was clean. Staff was courteous. Location is secure. Microwave and fridge in room, no coffee pot. No veteran discount—but price is still very fair.
